Our Mission:
Rescue. Relieve. Rebuild.
We don't wait for the help, We are the help! We the people of Louisiana refuse to stand by and wait for help in the wake of disasters in our state and the country. We rise up to unite and help rescue our neighbors! Our mission is to help the people who can't get help, not only in the wake of disaster, but in everyday life. From the under privileged, the homeless, and all veterans in this country, we won't stand by and watch another person suffer, struggle, and fight for their lives, while the world passes by. We're here to do something about it and make a real change in the lives of many. The words homeless and veterans should never have to be used in a sentence together. Louisiana Cajun Navy and all of the many volunteers and supporters, are here to make a difference, make a change, and to bring people, families and communities back to life and out of devastation!

It is with a sad heart that we make this post. We have lost another team member, brother, and friend. Marc Lucas a.k.a. Cowboy or Uncle Sam, depending on the day. He passed away Sunday from Covid. Marc jumped out and began helping others immediately after having severe damage done to his own home. He was a great man with a big heart and went out daily scouting and bringing food and supplies to area fire departments, nursing homes, as well as the National Guard. He had become a core part of our team and it was an honor to work with him. We know he’s sitting beside Angels tonight because he laid down his life for his friends and neighbors. Please keep his wife Nickie, who is in ICU with Covid, and son Matthew in your prayers!

There has been a  Go Fund Me  set up by family. Please Share

Our first plan of action in any disaster is to complete our rescue missions and save lives. This means going out on the front lines while disaster is still striking and saving all the lives we can.

Our second plan of action is to bring relief to those who have been affected by tragedy. Than means making sure everyone has clean water, fresh clothing, hot meals, and everything they need to feel comfortable and safe.

Our third plan of action is to help people rebuild their lives after a disaster. From demolition, clean up, organizing and distribution of supplies, we want to make sure every family has a place to call home again.

Our Impact:
With the help of our volunteers, our contributors, our rescue teams, and the generosity of people like you, we have been able to rescue, rebuild, relieve and rehabilitate thousands of people and families that have been affected by natural disasters. The people we help express over and over again their thanks and gratitude to all of those who have volunteered, donated and worked so tirelessly in the wake of disaster. We from the Louisiana Cajun Navy, say Thank You to all those who continue to help in our efforts to bring families out of devastation.

Get Involved
Get involved. It's people just like you who make everything we do possible. Without the volunteers, the rescue teams, and the many people who put their every day lives on hold just to make sure their fellow American brothers and sisters are safe and taken care of, none of this would be possible. So consider becoming a volunteer or making a donation today. You are saving lives and bringing families and communities back together.
